The authorities of north-western Dien Bien province on May 16 held a ceremony to receive 15 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who died in Laos during the American war.

The remains were then reburied at the Tong Khao martyrs' cemetery in Thanh Nua commune of Dien Bien district.
