Thai Nguyen: Steam boiler explosion kills 2, injures 6

VOV.VN -On November 10, two workers were killed and 6 others injured when steam boilers at the Thai Nguyen Construction and Material Production Company in Thai Nguyen City exploded.

The accident occurs at roughly 2:00 p.m. when the boiler used in producing concrete electric posts suddenly explodes, a source said.

The two victims are Nguyen Thi Thu (48) and Dang Quang Ngo (26), residents of Phuc Ha Commune, Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province.

Six injured, including one in danger of his life, are hospitalized at Thai Nguyen General Hospital.

The explosion also badly damages the firm's electric post workshop and nearby houses.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
