Operation Smile Vietnam (OSV) will auction paintings by renowned Vietnamese artists at the Park Hyatt hotel on May 13 to raise funds for needy Vietnamese children suffering from congenital facial deformities.

OSV's Evening of Smiles, sponsored by the Unilever Vietnam Foundation, will auction 20 art works to provide free cleft lip and cleft palate corrective surgeries for needy Vietnamese children, and help train doctors in remote regions to undertake the surgeries.

Organisers hope to raise enough funds to provide free operations for 70 children in Vietnam. The Unilever Foundation alone will sponsor the event with US$6,000.
