The national women’s chess team will compete in the World Women’s Team Chess Championships in Russia this month.
The team, which includes Le Kieu Thien Kim, Hoang Thi Bao Tram, Nguyen Thi Thanh An, Pham Le Thao Nguyen and Le Thanh Tu, will fly to Russia on May 19 for the tournament, which runs from May 20 to May 29.
The tournament has attracted ten strong teams from all over the world, such as China, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, the Netherlands and Armernia.
The Vietnamese team aims to finish in the top six, said Dang Tat Thang, head of the delegation.
