The Secretary of the Brazilian Rio Grande do Sul state Party Committee, Roul Carrion, has pledged to do his best to strengthen Vietnam-Brazil relations in many fields.
At a meeting with Tran Dac Loi, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), in Hanoi on April 22, Carrion, a member of the Brazil Communist Party and the House of Representatives, said he would introduce a Brazilian business delegation to seek partners and boost investment in Vietnam.

Deputy Chairman Loi said Carrion’s visit to Vietnam was a good chance for both sides to boost exchanges and deepen mutual understanding to increase the friendship between the two countries.

The Vietnam-Brazil Friendship Association was set up in 2010, Loi said, expressing his hope that the two sides would continue to promote cooperation and exchange delegations to strengthen their ties and mutual understanding.

During their visit to Vietnam, Carrion and his entourage will pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and visit Ha Long Bay and some economic, educational and scientific research establishments in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
