The high-ranking Cambodian delegation led by Samdec Chea Sim, President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and President of the Senate, left Hanoi on Nov. 27, successfully ending its official friendship visit to Vietnam.

During his stay in Vietnam, Mr Chea Sim held talks with Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh. He was received by State President Nguyen Minh Triet and met with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong and Secretary of the Hanoi municipal people’s Committee Pham Quang Nghi.

During talks and meetings with the Cambodians guests, Vietnamese leaders and senior officials affirmed that the Vietnamese Party, State and people attach great importance to strengthening relations of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia in the present and in the future.
