The Orion group inaugurated its first factory in Vietnam on December 5 in southern Binh Duong province’s My Phuoc II industrial zone.

The US$40 million factory, Orion's sixth outside the Republic of Korea, is expected to become the largest supplier of Orion products in Southeast Asia.

Orion's Chocopie and Custas cakes, popular among Vietnamese customers, have helped the group own a 40 percent share of Vietnam's cake market to become the top foreign-invested confectionery enterprise in the country.
