In 2010, FPT Software Malaysia will supply software projects worth US$1.45 million for five companies. Currently, the company provides IT solutions on taxation and 3,000 business registration forms for the Malaysian Government as well as other software.

Phan Hoang Son, a managing director of FPT Software Malaysia, said that in 2009, due to the impact of the economic downturn, the company could only achieve 20 percent of its projected revenue target. However, with the signs of economic recovery in the world and Malaysia, FPT Software Malaysia, hopes to see a stronger growth in 2010.

Mr Son added that Malaysia shares many similarities with Vietnam and most company staff are Vietnamese. In the near future, the company will recruit Malaysian workers with the aim of expanding business operations and strengthening the ties of friendship between the two countries.
