A Vietnamese robot is attending the world’s biggest robot exhibition – Robot IREX in Japan from November 28 to December 1.

Being compared to “Vietnamese high-tech ambassador”, TOPIO is a new product of TOSY toy company in Hanoi. The human-shaped robot has one head, two hands and six feet. It is able to play ping-pong, count the score and express feelings after each win and loss.

Ho Vinh Hoang, TOSY general director, said TOPIO is the prototype after two years of experimentation. In the next version, the robot will have two feet and moves like human. It can not only play ping-pong but also runs, jumps, plays football, billiards and can perform martial arts.
