The two ministers signed minutes on settling issues related to the VietsovPetro joint venture.

Under the minutes, the Vietnam-Russia Inter-Government sub-committee will present its proposals regarding the operation of the VietsovPetro joint venture after 2010 to the two Governments in November this year.

During the talks, the two ministers reviewed the implementation of the list of priority tasks to promote the Vietnam-Russia strategic partnership in 2007.

The two sides also sought ways to increase two-way trade value and the building of a joint action programme between Vietnam and Russia in the areas of investment and trade until 2012.
