Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung visited the Largade vineyard and IMPSA metallurgy group and met with the Acting Governor of the Argentine state of Mendoza before flying back to Vietnam.

PM Dung briefed Governor Cristian Racondo on Vietnam’s socio-economic situation and reiterated that Vietnam highly appreciates ties of friendship with Latin American countries, especially Argentina.

Mr Dung said he welcomes IMPSA Group in Mendoza joining Vietnam’s PV Power corporation to implement wind power and hydroelectric power projects with a total capitalization of US$3.2 billion.

The government leader pledged that Vietnam will create the best possible business conditions for Argentine investors, particularly those from Mendoza.

Meanwhile, Mr Racondo said his state will facilitate IMPSA’s operations in Vietnam.

While visiting the IMPSA headquarters, PM Dung highlighted Vietnam’s potential for developing wind power as it has a long coastline and many islands.
