More than 200 delegates from 51 provinces across the country attended a training conference on ethnic and religious affairs held by the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in the central city of Da Nang on January 11.

The participants discussed the Party’s policies and the important role of the VFF in the affairs and exchanged their experiences in working for ethnic minorities in mountain provinces, including Lao Cai and Kon Tum.

Poverty reduction, building houses for the poor and helping disadvantaged households and ethnic people develop economy were also the main focus of the discussion.

VFF Deputy Chairman Ha Van Nui said that taking care of ethnic and religious affairs is VFF’s most important task. He asked his staff to study the Party and State’s policies and the role of the VFF in the issues implement their responsibilities.
