The same day, he held talks with Lao Education Minister Phankham Viphavanh to review their ministries’ past cooperation and work out plans for the 2011-2020 period.

The two sides agreed to boost cooperation in graduate and postgraduate training in the immediate and long terms.

They also agreed to boost the exchange of visits by delegations in many fields and coordinate in implementing a project to enhance the quality and efficiency of cooperation in education and human resource development till 2020.

They will facilitate the exchange of artistic and sport activities in order to develop the traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
