The Vietnamese Association in France has conducted many humanitarian activities to help poor people and flood victims in the homeland in the past two years.
Nguyen Thanh Tong, Vice Chairman of the association, said these activities were in response to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
He noted that the association raised a total of EUR88,000 from donations by individuals and organizations, including the Vietnamese business association in France, Bichat University, the Municipal Office for Youth of Aubervilliers (OMJA), and the Support Programme for Migrant Solidarity Organisations (PRA-OSIM).
The beneficials were located in the Mekong Delta, and some provinces such as Dak Lak, Binh Dinh, Ha Tinh and Lao Cai.
