The Vietnam Red Cross launched an action month for Agent Orange victims and poor disabled people on July 24, calling on local and foreign organisations, individuals and businesses to assist AO victims.

Vietnam now has more than 5 million handicapped people and over 2 million AO victims, of whom hundreds of thousands are children with congenital defects.
