This is the 6^th year the event has been held with the participation of more than 1,000 businesses, the highest number so far, 279 of them were chosen by the organising board to enter the final round.

These candidates were then divided into two levels (national and regional) and classified as TOP 10, TOP 100, TOP 200 for different awards.

According to the organizing board, the total turnover of TOP 200 businesses in 2007 rose to US$24 billion, of which nearly US$1.5 billion was contributed to the state budget.

Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Dong Nai and Da Nang lead the country with large numbers of businesses to gain awards at the ceremony.
