The Peace Boat from Japan docked at Tien Sa Port in central Da Nang City on January 21, bringing more than 500 foreign tourists to visit historic relics and scenic spots in the city and its surrounding areas.
The visitors, mainly from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Britain, France and the US, will also attend a cultural, arts festival organised by the Da Nang Youth Union to celebrate Tet.
This is the 64th trip of the Hoa Binh (Peace) Boat around the world. The trip’s main purpose this time is calling for an end to violence against the residents of Gaza.
