Vietnam Airlines has reduced the price of air tickets by 30-40 percent on flights from Vietnam to some Asian countries from February 22.

It said the special discount would be applied to Hanoi-Singapore flights with one-way tickets costing US$60. The price for return tickets will also be cut to US$738 for flights from HCM City to Nagoya and Fukuoka (Japan), US$368 to Kiaoshung (Taiwan) and US$318 to Hong Kong.

The airline is also offering a 50 percent discount for flights from HCM City to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, which cost only US$168.
