Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association President Shiraiwa Yasuo in Fukushima said the event aims to help Fukushima with economic recovery efforts after the catastrophic tsunami and earthquake in 2011.
The festival features special cultural traditions of Fukushima and Japan and demonstrates local people's belief and their optimistic view.
Visitors have a chance to enjoy flower arrangement arts, traditional “sake” wine and dances to get a better understanding about Japanese tea ceremony.
