Competitions for preliminary rounds in the northern and southern regions are scheduled to take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in early August.

Contestants must be Vietnamese citizens aged between 18-27, single and 1.60m or more in height. They must not have undergone any cosmetic surgery or sex-change operations.
