The Ho Chi Minh City Securities Company (HSC) has reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Daishin Securities, the third largest company of its kind in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

HSC general director Johan Nyvene said that the cooperation will offer an opportunity for the two companies to enter each other’s markets.

The agreement covers major activities including consultancy on company acquisition and merger, issuance, brokerage and information technology.

HSC was founded by the HCM City Investment Fund for Urban Development (HIFU) and the British fund management company Dragon Capital, with a chartered capital of VND400 billion (US$25 million).

Daishin offers financial services in the securities market, including brokerage, financial services related to the capital market, and assets management and investment banking services to both individual and institutional investors.
