The Vietnamese Men’s Football Team was placed 139th in the FIFA March rankings, down four notches from the previous month despite the team’s recent impressive wins over Lebanon and Indonesia, said the International Football Federation (FIFA) on Mach 14.
However, the team still held its third position after Thailand and Singapore in the Southeast Asian rankings.
Meanwhile, Iran continued to top the Asian rankings, followed by Australia, Japan and the Republic of Korea.
In the world rankings, Argentina surpassed Brazil and Italy to become the Number one team with a total of 1,616 points.
