The Thai Nguyen provincial People’s Committee has approved a detailed project on the launch of the "2007 Thai Nguyen Tourism Year " at the provincial Stadium on February 27, 2007.

The event will include various activities such as Long Tong Festival, folk art shows, sports competitions, and a special performance featuring Thai Nguyen’s potential for tourism development. Another special activity will be the final of the second Thai Nguyen Tourism Singing Festival portraying Uncle Ho and Viet Bac – the former revolutionary base.
