Vietnam’s outstanding table tennis players Tran Tuan Quynh and Nguyen Thi Viet Linh have missed a chance to compete at the 2012 London Olympics.
The two hopefuls were defeated by Singaporean rivals in the semi-finals of the Southeast Asian Olympic qualifiers, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, last weekend.
During the past three Games, Vietnam’s top player Doan Kien Quoc performed well in a blaze of glory.
