About 80 international delegates, who assisted Vietnam in its past struggle for national liberation and the current Renewal process, will participate in friendship activities commemorating Vietnam’s 65th National Day (September 2).
All activities will be organised by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO).
From August 29 to September 3, foreign delegates will convene in Hanoi, meet with Party and State leaders, work with the municipal People’s Committee, and pay a floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum, said VUFO General Secretary Do Ba Khoa on August 27.
They will then make a tour of UNESCO-recognised World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province.
