The Robocon team from Lac Hong University, which has outperformed 300 other teams across the country, represents Vietnam at the 2010 Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) being held in Cairo, Egypt on September 20-21.
This year’s contest attracts 17 teams from 16 nations including 2 from the host Egypt. The official matches will take place at Cairo Stadium on September 21.
The ABU Robocon is a regional college robot competition first organised in 2002 by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. ABU Robocon 2009 took place in Tokyo, Japan and the Harbin Institute of Technology from China won the championship.
