The Dong Luc Sports Group announced on May 27 that it would award each Vietnamese athlete US$12,500 for winning a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.
Silver and bronze medallists would be given US$6,250 and US$3,100, respectively, the group announced.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Olympic Committee and the Dong Luc Sports Group launched a competition to design the official uniform for the Vietnam sports delegation.
The deadline for entrees is June 30.
