Vietnam’s eight representatives including six men and two women arrived in Japan's Namazu City to participate for the first time in the 39th WorldSkills Competition from November 14 – 21.

They will compete in 8 categories including IT software applications, Mech. Eng. CADD, Industrial electronics, Electrical installation, Restaurant service, Cooking, Carpentry and Bricklaying.


The event has attracted over 830 participants from 49 countries registering for 38 skill categories and nine demonstration categories. Official competitions are taking place in four days from November 15-18.

 

In conjunction with the 39th WorldSkills Competition, the 7th International Abilympics, a similar contest for the disabled, will also be held in Shizuoda City from November 14-18 with the participation of representatives from 12 countries./.
