Vietnamese ambassador to Laos Nguyen Huy Quang on October 29 handed over US$100,000 donated by Ho Chi Minh City to Vientiane governor Sinlavong Khoutphaythoun, to help the victims of recent floods in Vientiane .

On behalf of the recipients, Sinlavong Khoutphaythoun expressed his thanks to the people of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the Vietnamese Party, State and people in general.

On October 28, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Quang also handed over US$100,000 in relief aid to the Lao government to help their flood victims.
