Twenty young people from Vietnam’s central Quang Nam province are joining a 10-day exchange programme that will run through August 30 in southern Sekong province of Laos.

The volunteers are staying at Tok Sa Minh village in La Mam district and Kon Don May village in Tha Teng district to provide medical checks-up and medicine to local people and help them with farming and fish raising techniques.

During their stay in Laos, the volunteers will also present gifts to poor students and take part in environmental clean-ups and rural road construction.
