The Vietnam Farmers Union was officially admitted to the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP) at the 37^th World Farmers’ Congress held recently in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

On the occasion, IFAP suggested the Vietnam Farmers Union host the Meeting of Asian farmers’ organisations due to take place in May 2007.
