The southwestern province of Tay Ninh has so far this year attracted four Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects with a combined registered capital of more than US$12.2 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.6 folds.
They include a US$5-million project to produce copper products, which will be built in Trang Bang industrial zone by a Chinese business.
Meanwhile, the Papop Vietnam-Thailand joint-stock company was licensed to build a waste treatment plant using biotechnology in Chau Thanh district at an estimated cost of US$2.2 million.
Tay Ninh has so far lured 133 FDI projects worth nearly US$500 million in total. 93 out of them are in Trang Bang industrial zone with total registered capital of more than US$232 million.
