Vietnam always creates favourable conditions for businesses from the Republic of Korea (RoK) to invest in the Southeast Asian country, said Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during his official visit to the country at the invitation of President Lee Myun-pak.

Mr Dung made the commitment while addressing a conference themed “Strengthen economic partnership for sustainable green growth” in Seoul on March 29, which was attended by more than 500 leading RoK groups, research institutes and economic organizations in the wake of the second Nuclear Security Summit.

He asked RoK enterprises to invest in Vietnam’s infrastructure, high technology, processing, and energy industries.

The Vietnamese government leader pledged to continue improving the business climate, stabilizing marcoeconomy and curbing inflation.

On this occasion, he also witnessed the signing of cooperation documents between Vietnamese and RoK businesses.

Later the same day, PM Dung was scheduled to meet with his RoK counterpart Kim Hwang-sik.
