Vietnamese and Cambodian youth held a get together in a friendly atmosphere in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on June 12 in a bid to enhance co-operation between young people from the two countries.

During the exchange programme, Vietnamese and Cambodian youth sang a song composed by a Cambodian musician which highlighted the bilateral friendship, solidarity and co-operation.

Sor Saventh, head of the Youth Department of Ratanakiri province, bordering Vietnam’s Central Highlands provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum, said he loves Vietnam and wants to live in the country. Mr Saventh revealed the youth unions of Ratanakiri province of Cambodia and Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces of Vietnam plan to organise more exchange programmes. He also hoped that the two Governments will create favourable conditions for Vietnamese and Cambodian localities to meet, exchange and make friends with each other.

On June 13, Cambodian guests visited industrial zones in Ba Ria-Vung Tau and joined sports and cultural activities in the province.
