Athletes win silvers at Asian Petanque Champs
Vietnamese athletes clinched two silvers and a bronze at the Asian Petanque Championships, which concluded in Hanoi on December 16.
In the final match of the women's doubles event, Trinh Thi Kim Thanh and Nguyen Thi Truc Mai lost to Yan Lin Lin and Chang Wen of China to earn the silver medal.
In the men's doubles, Huynh Cong Tam and Nguyen Van Dung brought home another silver medal after losing to Thailand's Thaloeng Kiat Phusa-At and Suksan Piachan in the final match.
The bronze medal of this discipline went to both Vietnamese and Malaysian pairs.
