A delegation of the Nhan Dan (People) daily, organ of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee is on a working visit to Laos from October 19-26 to enhance cooperation with the Pasason (People) newspaper of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee.
The two sides informed each other of the activities of their respective newspapers, and discussed measures to boost cooperation and mutual assistance, especially in personnel training and professional experience exchange.
The Nhan Dan delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mounkeo Oraboun, Party Central Committee member and Minister of Information and Culture of Laos. The Lao Minister praised the effective cooperation between the two newspapers and said he hopes that they will further their cooperation in order to contribute to the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples.
The delegation also visited several economic and cultural establishments in Luang Prabang and Bolikhamsay provinces.
