The one-night Toyota Classical Concert 2007 will feature works by Spanish classical composers such as Chapi, Sorozabal, Soutullo & Vert, Chueca, Torroba, and Sarasate as well as Bach at the Hanoi Opera House on November 16.

All proceeds from the event, estimated at VND 100 million, will be donated to victims of storm Lekima in central provinces.

World famous Spanish Cadaqués Orchestra, conducted by Pablo González, will perform colourful zarzuela lyric drama compositions along with international artists, including renowned tenor Salvador Carbó and two young talented Asian violinists, Bui Cong Duy (Vietnam) and Min Lee (Singapore).

The concert will be broadcast live on television (VTC1 channel) for the first time to offer music lovers nationwide a chance to enjoy immortal classical pieces. It will also be displayed on a large outdoor screen in front of the Opera House from 8pm.

This will be the tenth Toyota Classics Concert held in the country since its debut in Vietnam in 1997.
