A collection of press cuttings by Vietnamese reporter Tran Thanh Phuong was exhibited in HCM City on June 16.

The collection entitled “Documentary pages” includes thousands of pages of documents which have been selected from different newspapers in the country over the past 40 years.

Notably among the press cuttings were articles about former President Ho Chi Minh and other Vietnamese Party and State leaders in different periods, a collection of articles about the Spratly and Paracel archipelago and a series of major news stories about the notorious cases of Thanh Huong perfume and Nam Can gang as well as other articles about the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Meanwhile, the Centre for East-West Cultures and Languages held an exhibition in Hanoi on June 17 to display newspapers that were issued in the early days of the 20th century.

The exhibition, which ran from June 17-22, was held to mark the 82nd anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day.
