A number of Vietnamese cultural objects, handicrafts and products representing the country's socio-economic achievements and its international integration are displayed at an international cultural festival in the central Mexican City of San Miguel.

Vietnamese Ambassador Le Van Thinh told the local press that Vietnam has worked hard to preserve and extend its traditional cultural treasures and wants to develop its relationship with other countries to enhance mutual understanding and build solidarity and friendship worldwide.

The festival opened on May 24 and will last through to the end of this month.
