Construction work will start on an industrial area in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (EZ) in Quy Nhon city of southern Binh Dinh province on September 26 at an estimated cost of UD$34 million.

 

The B 447-ha industrial area, to be built by the Hong Yeung Vietnam Co. Ltd., will have adequate technical infrastructure facilities, including a sewage system for industrial and daily-use wastewater with a capacity to handle 4,000 cubic metres per day for the urban area and 14,000 cubic metres per day for the industrial area.

 

Once completed, this industrial area is expected to attract investors in such fields as electronics, electricity, information technology, consumer goods production, and mechanics industry serving the production of motor and automobile accessories that do not cause environmental pollution.

 

As scheduled, the project will be completed by 2012.
