A representative office of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Sect was inaugurated on September 18 in Tran Van Kieu Street, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.
Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice Chairman of the Sect’s Executive Board and member of the National Assembly, cut the ribbon to mark this significant event.
The Hoa Hao Buddhist Sect was founded by Venerable Prophet Huynh Phu So in 1939 and has since expanded to 15 provinces and cities from central Phu Yen province southwards.
It now has more than 2 million followers.
