Korean designer to introduce latest collection in Vietnam
(VOV) -Well-known fashion designer Zio Song from the Republic of Korea (RoK), who specialises in high-end menswear, will bring his latest collection for Spring-Summer 2015 to Vietnam this December.
He will join with other seven international fashion designers and nine leading Vietnam designers at the Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014, which is co-organised by FIDe Fashion Weeks and the Multimedia Joint Stock Company in Ho Chi Minh City to meet international standards of other fashion weeks held around the globe.
Zio Song is the man behind the RoK’s menswear brand, SONGZIO. He is well-known for his philosophical design approach and focus on the idea of transcendence.
A graduate of the acclaimed ESMOD in Paris, Zio is regarded as the RoK’s top designer. He debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2007, where he gained international acclaim for the strong graphic and visual elements within his designs, exemplify avant-garde architectural silhouettes. He has also showcased his collections in Seoul, Singapore, and Barcelona.
He was awarded ESMOD Paris Mention D’Homme in 1987 and won Morphosis Awards Best Collection in 2011.
