US builds classrooms in Thai Nguyen
The northern province of Thai Nguyen on December 6 inaugurated 10 new classrooms at a primary school, built with financial support from the US Boeing Company and the Vietnam Veterans of American Foundation.
Construction of the classrooms at My Yen primary school, My Yen commune, Dai Tu district, started this June with total investment of over VND5 billion, including VND3.8 billion from local budget.
My Yen primary school was built in 1981 with eight temporary classrooms. The new facilities will provide better teaching and learning conditions for 27 teachers and 360 pupils there.
