The celebration ceremony was attended by the Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Bui Dinh Dinh, representatives from the overseas Vietnamese’s associations in Russia and reporters from Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), and the Vietnam Television (VTV), and the Vietnam News Agency.

In his address, Mr Dinh praised the achievements Vietnam’s revolutionary press has made over the past 85 years. He said that the Party and State’s Golden Star Order, the country’s highest decoration has been presented to Vietnamese journalists in recognition of their contributions to the development of Vietnam’s revolutionary press.

Mr Dinh asked the media agencies present in Russia to make a greater effort to deal with problems and improve the quality of news content to keep the Vietnamese community well informed of the Party and State’s guidelines and policies.
