The Israeli Embassy will open a national pavilion at the 14^th Vietnam International Exhibition of Medical and Pharmaceutical Products, Equipment and Supplies (VIETNAM MEDI-PHARM 2007), which will be held at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace from May 22-25.

The exhibition will draw the participation of Israel’s leading producers and distributors of medical and cosmetic products, including GE Healthcare, Atraco, Mon Platin and Mineral Care.

Israel’s pavilion will also provide information about the products of famous firms such as Teva, Given Imaging and Enzymotec.

Through the exhibition, Israeli businesses are expected to seize opportunities to penetrate the Vietnamese market, where their products can secure a firm foothold.

Currently, Israel ranks second and fourth in terms of solutions for the healthcare sector and bio-technology inventions (per capita), respectively, just after Japan, Germany and Britain.
