Australia invite Vietnam for friendly game in Sydney
The national women's football team of Vietnam has been invited to play a friendly match against the Australian squad later this month.
This match against the Vietnamese team is part of Australia's preparations for its campaign for the World Cup, which will be held from June 6 to July 5 in Canada.
Coach Alen Stajcic said Vietnam were a suitable rival for his players to compete against before they set out to win the World Cup.
The match is scheduled to be held on May 21 at the Jubilee Oval Stadium in Sydney.
