PM heads national IT application committee
(VOV) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed a decision on the establishment of the National Committee for Information Technology Application chaired by PM himself.
Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam is vice chairman of the committee.
Committee members include ministers of information and technology, finance, planning and investment, education-training, and others.
The committee is to make recommendations concerning policies and strategies for IT development and application in State agencies and key sectors, as well as in society.
It will help ministries, sectors and localities with IT development and application to support economic restructuring efforts and increase national competitive capacity.
It will also give opinion on policies, mechanisms, and big projects on IT development and application.
