The Australian consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and the city of Melbourne announced results of the latter’s 2010 Young Artist Grants Programme for Vietnamese artist on March 4.
10 artists will receive AU$500 at the opening ceremony for an exhibition on their artworks in the city and get an opportunity to have their works displayed in the Australian city.
The Jury also decided to confer an encouragement award of AU$250 to Phan Ngoc Lan Chi.
The Young Artist Grants Programme is an initiative by the city ò Melbourne and the consulate to support young emerging visual artists in Ho Chi Minh City.
