The Vietnam-China trade, agriculture, and handicrafts fair will take place at the Hanoi Friendship Palace from December 1-6, announced by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA) in Ho Chi Minh City on October 29.

Businesses from China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Japan and Vietnam will showcase their products at the 400 exhibits.

Vietnamese businesses will introduce unique products from cooperatives and craft villages across the country, including wood, handicraft and jewellery products as well as unique fruits.

Other activities will also take place on the sidelines of the fair, such as a meeting on the trading cassava starch, a seminar on the need for agricultural tools and consumption of agricultural and handicraft products in Vietnam and China, talks on tariff and border trading between Vietnam and China’s Guangxi province, trade promotion activities and exchanges between Vietnamese and Chinese cooperatives and economic organisations.

Nguyen Xuan Hien, VCA Vice Chairman said that the event is part of the national trade promotion programme approved by the Prime Minister. It will provide a good chance for Vietnamese cooperatives and businesses to promote their images and strengthen trade ties with foreign partners.
