New Zealand culture and education promotion

(VOV) - A New Zealand’s culture and education promotion programme will be implemented on September 17-25 as part of activities to mark 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between New Zealand and Vietnam. 

The Maori Cultural Group from New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute will perform in a number of high schools in Hanoi, Da Nang and HCM Cities.

New Zealand ambassador to Vietnam, HE Haike Manning emphasised that Maori culture is unique in New Zealand culture. He underscored the importance of the event which has introduced Maori culture to Vietnamese students in order to enhance mutual understanding between the two nations.

He added that the event will offer a good opportunity to promote New Zealand’s education, beautiful landscapes, dynamic cities and culinary arts which make the country a wonderful tourism destination. Vietnamese students will also have a chance to learn more about cooperation between the two countries over the last 40 years.
